The Speech Connection is run by Christie Feerick, an independent, paediatric Speech and Language Therapist.

I'm dedicated to providing highly individualised, meaningful and evidence-based assessment and intervention to children and their families in the Newcastle area.

My assessment and therapy programs are tailored to each child's specific needs, focusing on improving their communication skills and enhancing overall development.

At The Speech Connection, I recognise that clear communication is fundamental to a child's life.

I understand the significance of enabling every child to effectively express themselves in order to play, learn and connect with others. I am committed to assisting children and young people in expressing themselves and employ a neurodiversity approach throughout my assessment, intervention, and training.

From my extensive experience of working closely with parents and educators, I acknowledge the crucial role of parents and caregivers in accurately assessing and delivering intervention for children, empowering them to confidently and clearly use their voice.
